Meal plan, 10ppl for 8 days/7
nights
Not included is breakfast on day one and dinner on day eight.
All the stuff listed here, minus day one's ration, will fit in 10
personal, portable bear cans. To achieve this, the items will have
to be repacked in ziplock bags and similar low bulk packaging.
The main sources were Trader Joe's, Vitamin City, and Ralph's.
A 'drug dealer' style electronic gram scale is essential.
The oils were transferred into tiny 8oz bottled water jugs, which
makes an excellent, affordable alternative to camping style containers.
Nearly all the gorp, and there's almost 4 kilos, were handmixed
from the delicious abundance of nut's, seeds and dried fruit at
TJ's.
Before committing to a brand of pre cooked rice do a test run. Some
of them remain crunchy at altitude, or cooks too slow and ends up
as a sticky mess.
