More fine climbing
starting from yet another comfortable belay ledge. Only the headwall

One of the better
pitches of the South East Buttress, the eights lead, was a long set
of 5.8 finger cracks on a smooth narrow wall near the left edge of
the buttress. Awesome exposure and the routes only fixed piece, a
manky knife blade, was some of the features here. |

Tom aiding up the
A1 crack that thankfully ran parallel to the deep, wide, straight

The unique 'island
in the sky' belay ledge on top of the headwall. It was dead flat
and completely horizontal.
